Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen said on Monday he believes he can "return to action in two weeks" after suffering back problems that have kept him sidelined for more than two months.
"I have a good feeling, I'm back on the pitch," the German goalkeeper said at the Spanish outlet 'Mundo Deportivo' gala in Barcelona on Monday.
His main objective is to be available for the first leg of the Champions League last-16 tie against Napoli in a month's time.
At Monday's gala, Ter Stegen was recognised as Best Player of La Liga 2022/23 for being the lowest-scoring goalkeeper in the competition last season, with 18 goals conceded in 37 games and 26 clean sheets.
On last Sunday's game between Betis and Barcelona, which ended in a 4-2 Catalan win, he said: "I suffer more now, especially in games like yesterday's, although I'm very happy with the win.
