Manchester City have been very active in the winter market. Having advanced deals for Khusanov, Vitor Reis and Marmoush, the Citizens seem to have targeted a new player to bolster the squad. According to 'Sky Sports' journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, Andrea Cambiaso is the newest addition to the club's wishlist.
Although an official bid is yet to be submitted, City are reportedly ready to offer Juventus €60-65 million for the Italian defender. That said, the 'Bianconeri' are reluctant to let go of the 24-year-old mid-season and have therefore raised the asking price to €80million.
Cambiaso, considered an important asset in Thiago Motta's team, has also gathered interest from Germany as Bayern Munich have also shown increasing interest, as per the same report. However, Juve's stance remains the same in that only an elevated fee will be considered for the player.
Cambiaso, who has spent his entire career in Italy, arrived at the Turin side in the 2023/24 season after brief spells at Bologna, Empoli, Alessandria, Savona, Albissola and Genoa. The Genoa youth product counts two goals and one assist in 25 appearances for Juventus so far in the campaign.
