Napoli are top of Serie A on 53 points and it is partly thanks to Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian striker could have signed for Atletico Madrid four years ago but was turned down by the Spanish board.
His agent Amedeo Carboni told '1 Station Radio' what happened with the Spanish team: "Osimhen played for Wolfsburg and was worth just eight million euros. I offered him to Atletico but they turned him down. Diego Simeone was already coaching at that time," he said.
Victor Osimhen has scored 14 goals for the Italian team this season. The striker and Kvicha Kvarathskelia are Napoli's key players. Spalletti is very happy with the performances of both players.
Amedeo Carboni also spoke about the player's possible new destinations as several teams are targeting him. "I would take him to the Premier League, but it depends on future interest.
