"Real Madrid don't need these helps" - Real Sociedad coach hits out at referee

Real Sociedad coach Imanol Alguacil criticised the refereeing performance, led by Javier Alberola Rojas as the main referee, in reference to a possible offside by Kylian Mbappe prior to Real Madrid's third goal in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semifinals and assured that the 'Merenguies' “do not need this type of help” to win.
“They have eliminated us from the Copa del Rey as in the Europa League, surely having help in a section in which we ask for everything to be neutral. Real Madrid do not need this kind of help because they are a great team and have proven it throughout their history. I am hurt by this. Both in Europe and here, we have fought to reach the final,” he said at a press conference.
The criticism came after Alguacil assured that, in his opinion, “it was offside” and that “this type of situation is usually flagged”, although, in the first instance, he said it was “better not to talk”, as he ended up doing. Continuing with the referee's performance, the Real coach defended that Jon Ander Olasagasti's tackle on Vinicius Junior in the 106th minute was a yellow card and not a red one, as Real Madrid claimed.
“A hard tackle, strong, typical of a semifinal and what is at stake. The brawl was nothing more than an argument between two teams that didn't go any further,” he concluded.
