Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal, scorer of the second goal in his side's 2-0 win over Athletic Club in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final, has said he hopes team-mates Dani Olmo and Pau Victor can play in Sunday's final after receiving an urgent injunction from the CSD on Wednesday.
"I am very happy that Pau Victor and Olmo will be able to play now. I hope that in the final they will be with us and, if the coach puts them in, they will give their all. It's normal to be nervous when you can't play and, when you get news like this, you're very happy. We are very happy for them," said the Spanish international in front of the 'Movistar+' cameras.
Lamine, who started the game after almost a month out with a right ankle injury, explained that he is "very happy to be able to help the team" again, and stressed that Athletic are "a very physical team" who force their opponents to "run a lot".
"We suffered, especially at the end of the first half, but we were able to play very well. We are very happy with the victory. The objective was to reach the final so we could win it. We don't care (about the opponent in the final). Whoever it is, it's going to be very difficult. We hope to win and go home with the title," he concluded.
