Spain's top sports court (CSD) has given the go-ahead to Barcelona for an urgent precautionary measure for the registrations of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor. The provisional measure gives a period the club of 3 months to investigate the merits of the case.
This measure means that the CSD admits and accepts the allegations of the Catalan club, which it understands to have the required legal basis. As a result, both will be able to play in all competitions until a definitive ruling is given.
Olmo and Vitor are also free to play in Barcelona's Spanish Super Cup semi-final against Athletic on Wednesday evening at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Should Barca beat their opponents, two players would also cleared to play in the final.
The CSD replied to Barcelona's appeal - filed on Tuesday morning and included 52-page documentation as well as 60 files in which the club set out its defence - via an official document on Wednesday evening.
