"Real Madrid is a crybaby club" - La Liga chief Javier Tebas

La Liga president Javier Tebas harshly criticised Real Madrid and their president Florentino Perez in his recent interview with 'The Objective'.

Javier Tebas gave an interview to 'The Objective' in which he discussed several current issues, including the war with Real Madrid referees and his relationship with Florentino Perez. The president of La Liga defends an independent body for refereeing, but dissociates this idea from the latest acts of the 'Merengue' team to try, according to him, to contaminate the competition.
On the subject of complaints, especially from Madrid, about the refereeing, he said: “We've had a lot of controversy in recent weeks. The refereeing world has almost always had it, but the federation has not tried to find a solution. We have spent a few months where Real Madrid, who we have sued them, have created an absolutely false story and have questioned the whole of football. Are there complaints from clubs? Yes, Alavés complained, but they don't have a television that is dedicated to messing with who is going to referee me on Sunday. Just after the 'Negreira case', in an Assembly, we raised important issues that now seem to be appropriated by Real Madrid. An independent entity, like England or the Bundesliga. But now a manipulated story has been built against the refereeing collective and the competition. It is consciously trying to do harm. It seems that Real Madrid is now an inspired entity trying to change the structures of football”.
“We have been saying that we have to change the refereeing collective since when Madrid was not saying it. I know a lot of Madridistas who don't agree with this crying club. Because now it's a crybaby club, it's crying all day long. By the end of the week, it's all blame the Masonic conspiracy here...it's not like that. Madrid was a member of the Board of the Federation, until November, why didn't they say anything there, who are the competent ones with the refereeing world? If you survey the rest of the clubs, they will tell you that the most benefited are Real Madrid and Barcelona,” the president of La Liga said.
He continued on his relationship with Florentino: “Real Madrid and their fans must have independence of opinion. My 'Madridismo' is hibernated by their president and his board decisions. Of course I like Real Madrid, when they won the Champions League I was very happy. I am a 'Madridista', I am not a 'florentinista'. The last time we spoke was three years ago. I don't have to talk to him, Madrid is now in the La Liga Delegate Commission. Can I imagine a league without Madrid? No, because it's impossible.
