Barcelona president Joan Laporta met with first-team coach Hansi Flick on Monday to inform him of the club's options to register players Dani Olmo and Pau Victor before 1 January.
As ‘EFE’ has been able to learn from sources within the club, Laporta, accompanied by the manager responsible for youth football, Joan Soler, went to the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper, to update Flick on the moves the club is making to return to the 1:1 rule, which La Liga requires to maintain the balance between income and expenditure at clubs.
The president explained to the German coach that the transfer of the exploitation of part of the new VIP boxes at Spotify Camp Nou has been closed for around 100 million. If La Liga gives the green light to the deal, it would allow Barca to operate at full capacity in the next transfer window.
Meanwhile, Flick has also been informed of the hearing held this Monday at the 47th Court of First Instance in the Catalan capital to ask again for the precautionary registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor after the Commercial Court number 10 denied it last Friday. The club expects a resolution this Monday afternoon.
