Greenwood unaffected by insults from rival fans, says Getafe coach

Mason Greenwood, who is on loan at Getafe from Manchester United to rebuild his professional football life after being accused of sexual abuse, has received several insults from rival fans at his La Liga matches.
However, the 22-year-old is dealing with the criticism quite well, according to his current coach Jose Bordalas. "He is calm, he is happy, he is treated very well. The boy has had exemplary behaviour to this day and his teammates help him," he told 'Marca'.
"I'm sure the chants affect him. You know my opinion, I'm against any insult, no matter who the player is. I cannot say anything more," he continued.
Greenwood's future is still up in the air as the player reportedly wants to stay in Spain to continue his career. The forward is slowly building his professional life after his legal incidents in England and is not considering a return at the moment.
"We haven't talked yet, he's in the same situation as the other loanees and it is important to finish as well as possible. The Spanish boss went on to add: "When everything is defined it will be time to get down to work see whether Mason will be able to stay another year or not. It will depend on his club and the decision he makes."
Meanwhile, Manchester United will listen to a number of proposals for his services in the coming months as the board consider whether to begin negotiations with the player to return to the Premier League.
