The streaming platform 'Apple+' released a documentary called 'War for Football', which deals with the creation of the European Super League, the project that brought division in European football.
In the first episode of the series, UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin made his views known and quickly distanced himself from Real Madrid, one of the promoters of the new competition.
"There are many sharks swimming in the sea of football. Since I heard about the Super League for the first time, I knew who would be in charge. Because they had been complaining publicly for a long time that a club like them were playing with smaller clubs," the Slovenian said of the white team.
And he was quick to criticise the 'Merengues' board: "They think they are some kind of elite club that shouldn't worry about anyone else because they are so important that everyone should bow down to them. They are Real Madrid and their president is Florentino Perez".
Andrea Agnelli (Juventus), Joan Laporta (Barcelona), Javier Tebas (La Liga) and Florentino Perez himself, among other executives, will also make their position known regarding the creation of the European Super League during this documentary.
