"We will see at the right moment" - Barca sporting director on Haaland swoop

Barcelona sporting director Deco gave an interview to 'Mundo Deportivo' in which the Portuguese was unhappy about the decision to disallow a goal to Robert Lewandowski for offside against Real Sociedad, leading to the third defeat of the 'Cules' this season.
In addition, the former Barca player also spoke about possible transfer rumours to reinforce the forward line. Lewandowski is aging like fine wine and this season has scored 19 goals in just 17 games, but the fact is that the Pole is 36 years old and his contract expires in the summer of 2026.
As a result, top strikers like Haaland and Gyokeres have been linked with the Catalan club, something Deco has spoken about. "He’s a good striker who scores a lot of goals, but we’re not working on that. We have Lewandowski, we’re so happy with him and we’re not going to discuss any striker now," he said on Gyokeres.
The Barcelona board member also said they were right to bring in Dani Olmo after failing to secure the signing of Nico Williams. "Nico was in our thoughts last summer… but he made his decision and life continues. We signed Dani Olmo, he was a priority target for us," he concluded.
