“We love Mo Salah" - PSG president Al Khelaifi on Liverpool star links
PSG president Al Khelaifi responded once again to rumours linking Liverpool star Mohamed Salah to the Parisian club as he spoke to the microphones of 'GiveMeSport'. Despite admitting that he is a big fan of the Egyptian gem, Al Khelaifi insisted that there have been no talks over a move.

As time goes on, Mohamed Salah seems increasingly likely to leave Liverpool. The Egyptian star, who has spent almost a decade at Anfield, has entered the final six months of his contract but admitted that he hasn't received an offer yet and is, therefore, "more out than in."
His contract situation has fueled talk about which club could be his next club, with Paris Saint-Germain emerging as a possible destination. Nasser Al Khelaifi, chairman of the Ligue 1 side, was asked to comment on the rumours earlier this week, but he immediately shut them down, saying: "It’s not true. He’s a fantastic player, but we’ve never considered him, to be honest."
But his words seem to have not worked to put out the talk, as he was asked about the possibility of the 32-year-old joining again on Friday. "We never talked to him," he insisted. "Respect Liverpool and respect the player - he has a contract with Liverpool and we never talked to him". Despite not negotiating with Salah, Al Khelaifi did not deny his admiration for the player. "I love Salah, also because he came from our part of the world. I am very proud of him for what he's done in the Premier League with Liverpool," he told 'GiveMeSport'.
While PSG seems to have been ruled out in the race for Salah, Saudi Arabian clubs remain the front runners to sign the player, who was also linked to the Middle East last year before he ended up renewing with the Reds. It remains to be seen whether the tide will shift for Salah's contract situation with the club or whether the Egypt international will wear a new shirt from next season onward.
