Sporting Gijon hosted Rayo Vallecano in a Copa del Rey last 32 tie on Tuesday.
After a goalless first period at El Molinon, Uros Milovanovic put the home side ahead in the 57th minute. The La Liga side were chasing in search of an equaliser and Milovanovic struck again two minutes from the end to give the second tier club victory.
