After losing to Liverpool 7-0, the Manchester United board have started to work little by little on the squad for next season and they've come to the conclusion that the side needs a striker.
Therefore, according to 'The Athletic', Ten Hag's chosen one to strenghten his attack is none other than current Roma man Tammy Abraham, who has improved a lot under manager Jose Mourinho.
The Red Devils are thought to have sent scouts to follow the 25 year old's movements, who has played 34 games this season, scoring seven and getting four assists.
Abraham is of real interest to United, but he's not the only one on their wish-list. Spurs' Harry Kane and Napoli's Osimhen are also being looked at by Ten Hag, who needs an out-right goal-scorer.
The move for the Roma forward could be more likely than the other two options, but what's for certain is that Chelsea have an option to get him on board for €80 million ahead of next summer.
We'll have to see if the Blues decide to carry out their clause and get him on a more permanent basis. In case the Blues leave the fight, United could negotiate directly with the Italian club to try and reach an agreement.
