Ultra banned from the Italy-England match for an offensive message to Maradona: "Diego is in a box"

Italy and England met in the first match of the Euro 2024 qualifying group stage after having last met in the Nations League.
Just before the match, a very unpleasant incident made headlines. According to 'The Mirror', a British ultra was banned from the Napoli stadium for displaying a banner with an extremely offensive message about Maradona. "Diego is in a box," the text read.
It is worth remembering that the former Argentina international is a true legend in the transalpine city. The English Football Association (FA) strongly regretted and condemned the incident.
"We immediately took steps to cancel his entry before the match. The matter will be reviewed further when we return to England," he said. "We strongly condemn the actions of the individual who travelled to Naples with a flag that had a very offensive message," the FA itself added.
