Three Lions fail to roar at Wembley

Lee Carsley's England were beaten 1-2 by Greece at Wembley on Thursday after poor performances that were not up to their standards.
It was a tight first 45 minutes at Wembley. Neither team was able to put their countries ahead despite their best efforts. Pavlidis broke the deadlock with a great shot from close range, with all his teammates dedicating it to George Baldock after his recent passing. Pavlidis made it two for the visitors from inside the box after a pass from Tzolis but it was disallowed for offside. Jude Bellingham found an equaliser in the 87th minute but Pavlidis did not give up and gave his country the victory in stoppage time.
