The Champions League last 16 draw will be made on Monday and defending champions Real Madrid are the only Spanish side left in it.
After getting knocked out of the group stages, eight teams will be in the seeded pot and they will have the advantage of playing the second legs at home. The other teams are Benfica (Portugal), Porto (Portugal), Bayern Munich (Germany), Napoli (Italy), Man City (England), Tottenham (England) and Chelsea (England).
Those clubs will face a team in the second pot. Borussia Dortmund (Germany), Leipzig (Germany), Eintracht Frankfurt (Germany), Liverpool (England), Brugge (Belgium), AC Milan (Italy), Inter (Italy) and PSG (France).
The only team Real Madrid cannot face is Leipzig because both teams were in group F.
Without doubt, the two clubs Carlo Ancelotti's side want to avoid are Liverpool and PSG. Madrid were able to beat them last season, but they are very tough opponents.
Club Brugge and Eintracht Frankfurt look to be the easiest teams on paper for Madrid in the last 16 of this exciting Champions League season.
The eight Champions League ties will be split over four weeks with the first legs on 14th, 15th, 21st and 22nd February and the returns on 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th March.
