"The sanction? When they told me it was 15 points, I did the maths for the UCL"

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri was questioned, as expected, about the sanction imposed on the 'Bianconeri', who have been stripped of 15 points for the 'Prisma case'.

Massimiliano Allegri lived up to his surname and preferred to avoid the regrets and sorrow over the 15-point deduction imposed on Juventus for the capital gains case. Asked about the team's situation, he made it clear that he is only focused on the top.
Juve have dropped to tenth place and see the Champions League and Champions League places 12 points away, something the coach discussed early on, even when it seemed that the sanction would be less: "When they told me that the sanction was nine points, I started to do the maths to see what we needed to qualify for the Champions League".
"When I knew it was 15, I made other calculations, to see the points that separate us from the UCL places," added the coach ahead of the league game against Atalanta.
Precisely in reference to that match, he wanted to leave behind everything that is not purely sporting: "The judicial issue refers to the club. We should only think about what happens on the pitch so that we don't have regrets in two months' time, when the final judgement is handed down. For the moment, we have to accept Friday's decision, which does not refer to the sporting side".
