Former Real Madrid and AC Milan striker Antonio Cassano was full of criticism for Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici for selling Joao Cancelo to Man City in the 2019-20 season.
"I understand that Inter Milan cannot afford him, but for Juve to sell him... I think it's crazy. Only 40 million? I'd have given him for 400 million," Cassano told 'Bobo TV'.
He also criticised Paratici, who is currently in the Premier League: "And the sporting director who sold him, Fabio Paratici, doesn't even know how he ended up at Tottenham. Selling Cancelo for that money is spitting in football's face, he's a genius, he'd make the difference even as a striker."
Then, Juventus reached an agreement with the English club to sell Cancelo and, at the same time, get Danilo's services. Those negotations, which saw Cancelo leave for 40 million euros, infuriated Cassano.
Currently, the Portuguese full-back is at Bayern Munich, as City approved his departure. That was after the footballer had a series of differences with Pep Guardiola, according to reports in England.
