Cristiano Ronaldo is getting closer and closer to his infamous target to reach 1000 career goals. The Portuguese scored his 915th goal earlier today as he made no mistake from the penalty spot.
Damac goalkeeper Al Bukhari did well to guess the direction of the shot, but it wasn't enough to stop Ronaldo from finding the back of the net and opening the scoring after 17 minutes of play.
The former Manchester United striker had reached 900 goals just last month, but is now only 85 goals away from the iconic milestone. His last 5 goals have come in the last 3 matches between club and national team.
That said, Ronaldo admitted earlier this month that he would be "fine" with not getting to the four-figure mark, as he revealed he wants to focus on the present and "enjoy the moment".
