After sweating buckets to beat Valencia in the Spanish Super Cup semi-final on penalties, Real Madrid are now thinking of defending the title they won last year.
Real Madrid want to add another trophy to their cabinet and to do that, they need to beat arch-rivals Barcelona. They will face off on Sunday night and anything can happen.
Ancelotti is hoping to get the better of a Xavi who is looking for his first piece of silverware as Barca coach. The Italian will have to do without Alaba, Tchouameni and Lucas Vazquez for the contest.
The Austrian and the Frenchman stayed in Madrid due to muscle injuries while the Spaniard suffered an ankle injury against Valencia. Vazquez will be out for the next month and a half.
Ancelotti will have the rest of the players at his disposal for the Spanish Super Cup final. Valverde, Camavinga and Miltao will play despite picking up knocks in the semi.
