Real Madrid defence wreak havoc days before Super Cup

After a wobbly performance away to Cacereno, Real Madrid fell to Villarreal in La Ceramica.
The Madrid side's defence was not good at all - they gave a lot away - and Ancelotti sent a message to his players. It was a warning with regards to the Super Cup: "We didn't defend well in our half, we weren't compact and we let them have a lot of balls in the middle of the pitch. They played well in defense and we didn't".
"We gifted our opponents too much control in things we normally do wel. We've got to go to work and overcome the problem. It wasn't a good game for us defensively. Attacking we were good enough, but defending we should've done better", he addded.
Therefore, Madrid are using what the Italian coach said as a warning before the Super Cup starts. Valencia are their first opponents and they will then go up against either Barcelona or Betis if they get to the final.
