Adrien Rabiot spoke on the microphones of 'DAZN' after Marseille's win over Saint-Etienne and said that he would love to play with his compatriot Paul Pogba, who is currently a free agent, in the south of France.

Paul Pogba will be making his return to professional football in March 2025 following the reduction of his doping suspension. However, he currently finds himself with no club to play for after being axed by Juventus last month. While the former Man United midfielder has been linked to a move outside of Europe, with MLS and Saudi teams reportedly leading the race, Adrien Rabiot seems to have another idea in mind for his compatriot.
Rabiot, who is enjoying life on the coast of France, said he would love to have Pogba at Marseille. "Of course, I would love to play with Paul. We spent some time together at Juventus, but we didn't really get to share the pitch. He's more than welcome to join," he told 'DAZN' after winning - and scoring - against Saint Etienne on Sunday.
The 29-year-old continues to see a world-class player in Pogba, despite his long absence from the sport, suggesting that becoming an 'Olympien' could be the right decision for him. "We're putting together something important [at Marseilli], there's a real dynamic, it's very professional from the players to the coach and the management, and there's real ambition," he said.
After a disappointing eight-place finish last term, Marseille have indeed been on the up this season under new manager Roberto De Zerbi. The former Brighton boss has led his side to 9 wins from the opening 14 games, putting them joint-second in the Ligue 1 standings - five points behind leaders Paris Saint-Germain. The traditional French giants are not only looking to return to the Champions League, but also fight for a league title that has been missing since 2009.
