It was a relatively even first half at the Parc des Princes but PSG were slightly ahead in terms of chances. The Parisians thought they had broken the deadlock right at the end of the first period with Hakimi but his goal was ruled out by VAR due to Nuno Mendes' offside in the build-up. The second half was filled with goals as Grealish came off the bench to fire City ahead in the 50th minute before Haaland doubled three minutes later. But PSG came back from two goals down to seal a 4-2 win as Dembele and Barcola scored within three minutes of each other before Joao Neves netted in the 78th minute. Ramos rounded off the scoring with a goal in injury time to condemn City to a painful defeat in the Champions League
