Pressure mounts on Pochettino as Chelsea beaten by Brentford

Chelsea lost their fifth game of the season against Brentford in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge. The Bees won 1-0 despite the Blues' best efforts.

Chelsea created more chances in the first half but were unable to score the opener. Ethan Pinnock broke the deadlock in the 58th minute to give Brentford the lead. The Blues were unable to score the equaliser and the Bees took all three points. Sanchez, who went to help out for the last corner-kick of the game, left the goal empty and Mbeumo took advantage and sealed victory at Stamford Bridge.
