Ruud van Nistelrooy's successful spell as Man United interim manager may have not been enough to convince Amorim to include him in his coaching staff, but it was certainly sufficent for Leicester to appoint him new head coach.
The 48-year-old joins the Foxes just weeks after beating them twice while in charge at United - 5-2 in the Carabao Cup and 3-0 in the Premier League - taking over from Steve Cooper, who was dismissed earlier this week.
