Juventus have completed the signing of Randal Kolo Muani from Paris Saint-Germain on loan until June 2025. The deal does not include a buy option clause, with Juventus covering 100% of the player's salary during his stay in northern Italy.
The deal was supposed to be announced after the Frenchman landed in Turin and completed his medicals last week, however, it was temporarily blocked as the Parisians had exceeded the six-player loan limit imposed by the league's regulation.
That said, PSG resolved the issue by terminating Juan Bernat's contract with immediate effect. The Spaniard, who was on loan from PSG to Villareal, freed up a loan spot to seal the deal for 26-year-old player.
Kolo Muani accepted the proposal after snubbing interest from Premier League clubs Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United, representing a significant coup for Juventus to potentially bolster their attacking options for the remainder of the 2024-25 season.
This move comes after Kolo Muani struggled for playing time at PSG, making just two Ligue 1 starts this season. Juventus manager Thiago Motta is reported to have played a crucial role in convincing the striker to choose the Italian club.
