Two hooded men assaulted Napoli forward David Neres in the early hours of Sunday morning after the player's 2-1 Serie A win over Parma in which he provided the key assist for Frank Zambo Anguissa's goal that sealed the Neapolitan club's comeback.
The incident occurred just after Saturday's match, as Neres was leaving the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in a car with his partner, German model Kira Winona.
The hooded men smashed the left side window of the car and threatened the player and his partner with a gun, demanding the Brazilian's watch - valued at around 100,000 euros, according to reports - which he eventually handed over.
Shortly after the incident, the player's wife posted a message on social media explaining what happened and thanking the fans for the welcome at the hotel where he was staying.
No injuries or major incidents were reported, and Neres was escorted to the hotel where he was staying, just after complaining to the authorities.
