Napoli decided to sign Giovanni Simeone

Napoli are delighted with Giovanni Simeone. He has become one of the key players for coach Luciano Spalletti after arriving to the Neapolitan team in the last summer transfer window.
According to 'Il Mattino', the Italian side have decided to take up the option to buy his loan, which is set at 12 million euros. In this way, the player will sign a new contract at the end of the current season.
He will have to leave Hellas Verona, the team with which he has performed best in Serie A. In fact, he scored only one goal less (17) in one season than he did in three seasons with Cagliari (18).
The player will join one of Italy's top clubs if the deal is made official after having played for other mid-table clubs. It will be his eleventh season in the country.
