“My future? I'm focused on the game against Salzburg”

The Argentine Rodrigo de Paul maintains his ambition with Spanish team, with which he feels “important”, likes to be “demanded” and knows what he can give, as he said Tuesday on the eve of visiting Salzburg in the last day of the Champions League Phase, in a “crucial” match.
“I have always felt and have been made to feel by the club and my teammates as an important part of the team. I believe that in the groups everyone has their role. I like to be demanded, I know what I can give. I have never been satisfied in my career, I am not going to do it and I always want everything to go better. I feel comfortable and happy, as I have always felt,” he said at the press conference at the Red Bull Arena stadium, the venue for Wednesday's match.
“It is true that when the work or the people value what you do is a satisfaction, but in the background, because the most important thing is how Atletico Madrid is doing. And I think the team is doing very well,” added De Paul, World Cup winner with Argentina and who finishes his contract with 'Colchoneros' in 2026.
