Marcus Rashford reaches 50 Premier League goals at Old Trafford
Marcus Rashford scored twice for Manchester United against Everton on Sunday to reach 50 Premier League goals at Old Trafford. The forward, who is enjoying a strong start under new boss Amorim, is only the 6th United player in history to reach the milestone.

Manchester United are enjoying a perfect home record under Ruben Amorim, having claimed a 4-0 victory over Everton in their latest match. Although the Portuguese coach could not secure three points in his first Premier League game, which ended in a draw against Ipswich, he seems to have successfully initiated a new era at the club.
The fresh start also appears to have unlocked several players in the squad struggling until Amorim's arrival. Marcus Rashford is one of them. Before the former Sporting boss' appointment, Rashford had not scored in seven successive Premier League games and had a single goal to his name this season, however, he now counts four goals - putting him 8th in the goal-scoring standings in the league.
Having faced criticism early in the season, the forward aims to build confidence and reclaim his best form before the end of the year. "It's still early but I feel energised and ready for the next game," he told 'Sky Sports' on Sunday. Rashford's morale can be further boosted by the fact that his latest brace took him to 50 Premier League goals at Old Trafford for the Red Devils. The 27-year-old is only the sixth Man United player in history to reach this milestone.
Nonetheless, Amorim believes there is more potential to unlock from the United youth product, who is playing a pivotal role under his new manager so far. “My effect on Rashford? A new coach is always like that, but there is so much to improve," Amorim said. “He can do so much better. We all have to improve. But it was a great job from the players”. Rashford was not the only attacker who relished himself at Old Trafford. Joshua Zirkzee also scored twice to end his 18-match goal drought for United - the Dutchman hadn't scored since his debut for the club on August 16. Amad and Bruno Fernandes also delivered positive displays as they provided two assists each.
