Manchester United were negotiating with Adrien Rabiot for his transfer to Old Trafford last season but were unable to reach an agreement.
The Red Devils will try to sign him again in the summer transfer window. The 28-year-old could also join as a free agent as his contract with Juventus expires at the end of June.
Nevertheless, according to 'Calciomercato', their dreams could be dashed by Allegri's side. The Italian team are considering offering him a one-year contract extension due to his superb performances this season.
The Frenchman has played 48 competitive matches this season, scoring 11 goals and providing five assists for the Serie A club. Rabiot has not yet decided on his future but we could see him playing in the Premier League next season.
