Donyell Malen, the Dutch international forward, has expressed his desire to join Barcelona in the upcoming January transfer window, signalling his eagerness for a new challenge away from Borussia Dortmund">Borussia Dortmund.
The 25-year-old, who has been on Barcelona's radar in the past, is keen on a move to Spain despite receiving regular playing time at Dortmund. According to Sky Germany, Dortmund would be open to selling Malen if an acceptable offer arrives, with a reported price tag of around €20 million.
Barcelona, however, are not currently planning any January reinforcements unless faced with a significant injury crisis. Arsenal have also shown interest in Malen, closely monitoring his situation as the transfer window approaches.
The versatile attacker, who joined Dortmund from PSV Eindhoven in 2021 for approximately €30 million, has netted four goals this season and is a regular starter for the Dutch national team.
Malen's ability to play across the front line, particularly as a centre-forward or winger, adds to his appeal, though Barcelona view him as a potential offensive complement for the future rather than an immediate priority.
