Madrid returned to training without Rodrygo

Real Madrid got down to work and carried out the first of their two scheduled training sessions before the end of the year. The only absentee, apart from the long-term injured, was Rodrygo, who will join the morning session on Tuesday.

After a week's holiday Real Madrid returned to training on Monday, with the absence of Rodrygo Goes, as well as the injured Dani Carvajal, David Alaba and Eder Militao, to prepare for the La Liga match against Valencia at Mestalla on 3 January (21:00 CET, -1 GMT).
