Liverpool to challenge United and Chelsea for Osimhen

Napoli are having a great season in Italy and they're all set to lift the Serie A title. The Napoles side are the undisputed leaders of the Italian first division and they have a 15 point lead over second place Inter.
Part of this success is down to Victor Osimhen, who has found his most prolific goal-scoring form, as he's already got 18 goals in 22 games in all competition. That's why he has raised the eye of several big European teams.
PSG were interested to start with, but now the Premier League sides seem to be the ones winning the race with Manchester United and Chelsea up top. However, 'Sport' claimed that Liverpool have joined the list to try and sign the Nigerian striker.
The Reds are going through their worst spell with Klopp. However, the Liverpool board still have full confidence in the German and are preparing for an overhaul of the squad in the summer which could give the African prime spot.
As for the Italian club's President Aurelio de Laurentiis, he made it clear to 'Bild' that his player is not to be touched: "Victor Osimhen is not for sale. Our players are very in demand, but I don't have to sell anyone. We're not in debt".
