Man United's convincing win against Everton on Sunday raises fans' hopes ahead the Premier League clash against Arsenal midweek. Amorim is off to a solid start since taking charge with two wins and one draw from his first three fixtures with the Red Devils, but now faces his first real test as he visits the Emirates.
However, the former Sporting Lisbon manager has been dealt with a setback as Lisandro Martinez and Kobbie Mainoo have both been ruled out from Tuesday's showdown.
The pair were one-yellow card away from suspension ahead of the game against Everton but after receiving bookings from referee John Brooks they will be forced to sit out the trip to north London.
Kobbie Mainoo was the first from the two to be shown the yellow card following his foul on Everton midfielder Lindstrom. But the Argentinian did not take long to join his teammate in the bookings list as he was cautioned less than five minutes later.
