FIFA announced on Wednesday the seven official squads for the Club World Cup Saudi Arabia 2023. The tournament starts on 12th December and lasts ten days, i.e. it ends on 22nd December.
Teams such as Al Ahly (EGY), Al Ittihad (KSA), Auckland City (NZL), Club Leon (MEX), Fluminense (BRA), Manchester City (ENG) and Urawa Reds (JPN) will fight for the title of best club in the world.
Kevin De Bruyne, who has been out of action since the opening Premier League game of this campaign with a hamstring injury, has been included in Manchester City's official squad for this tournament.
Several top players such as Julian Alvarez, Rodri Hernandez, Bernardo Silva and Erling Haaland have also been called up by Spanish coach Pep Guardiola for the upcoming matches of the major club competition.
Meanwhile, Al Ittihad will be able to count on world-class players such as Karim Benzema and N'Golo Kante, among others, to try to win the Club World Cup title this term.
