Juventus will not be taking part in the next edition of the UEFA Europa Conference League, despite having secured their place thanks to their seventh-place finish in Serie A last season.
'Corriere dello Sport' reports on Sunday that the Turin club have reached an agreement with UEFA to be voluntarily excluded from European competition this season in exchange for a review of the financial irregularities that led the Italian FA to deduct 10 points from Juve last May.
Exclusion from the recent UEFA competition is seen as a solution by Juventus management to avoid compromising a possible participation in the next Champions League 2024-2025.
In this way, the 'Vecchia Signora' make it clear that they will focus this season on trying to win the Serie A title again, which has eluded them since the 2019/2020 season, as the last three winners of the domestic championship have been Inter, Milan and Napoli.
