Despite Manchester United being willing to accept a £20 million bid, no agreement has been reached on personal terms between Sancho and the Serie A side.
The Turkish club remain interested and had contacted United two weeks ago to enquire about deal conditions, but no further discussions have taken place since. Sancho is reportedly unwilling to consider a move to Turkey before September, when the Turkish transfer window closes on the 12th.
Sancho's agent has formally informed Roma of the player's decision not to accept their offer, leaving the Italian club to explore alternative targets. Meanwhile, United hope similar proposals, around the £20 million mark, will emerge from other clubs in the coming weeks.
With the summer transfer window in full swing, Sancho appears focused on assessing his options, keeping the door open for moves to other European clubs while putting Besiktas on hold for now.
