Everyone is talking about Italian football and it is being forensically investigated after Juventus were docked 15 points for their capital gains misdemeanours. Milan are now the ones who are being investigated after they received a visit from the financial police.
According to 'Marca', this is because of the enquiries as part of the investigation over a possible sale of the club from 'Fondo Elliott' to 'Red Bird Capital', with Gerry Cardinale in charge. The transaction took place last August after being started in spring.
This investigation started from the Blue Skye reports, an ex-minor Milan shareholder, as the Luxembourgish company claimed that the sale went ahead without them being aware of either negotiations. After that, they sent a counter-attack to get the documentation for the sale.
In the mean time, the Guarda di Finanza are studying documents in certain offices (not in the Milan HQ) because of said accusations. For now no one has been suspected of anything and it is all in its opening stages.
