"I'm sure my father is envious"

Napoli player Giovanni Simeone gave an interview to 'Sky Italia', in which he expressed his joy at having won the Scudetto with the Neapolitan team and becoming the second Argentine to achieve such a feat.
"It was an incredible emotion to win a 'Scudetto' as an Argentinian, after Diego Maradona. I still can't believe it, I'd like to spend the next few weeks going around the city to see the joy of the fans," said the striker.
And in the same vein, he revealed when he realised they could take the title: "In the games against Atalanta and Roma, we were in trouble and we overcame them. Then, after the win against Juventus, we realised we were very close".
Finally, Simeone gave details of his relationship with his father Diego, Atletico Madrid coach, who travelled exclusively to the city of Naples to accompany his son and be part of the Italian champions' celebrations.
"He has come here these days just to celebrate with me, we have a normal father-son relationship. I'm sure he's envious because I won the Scudetto in Naples," said the player.
