Angel di Maria arrived at Juventus at the worst sporting and institutional moment in the Turin club's history. The Argentine, who won the World Cup with Argentina in Qatar, highlighted his "happiness" despite the bad moment, in a press conference after the draw against Atalanta.

Juventus managed to convince Angel di Maria last summer after so much back and forth between the Italian club and Barcelona, the other team that was interested in signing the Argentinian.
The former PSG player spoke after the 'Vecchia Signora' draw against Atalanta. "It's an important point. We played a great game, despite some mistakes, we need to improve; it's difficult to suddenly find ourselves with 22 points, but we have to continue with the same mentality. Qualifying for the Champions League is not impossible, because Juve have a winning mentality," he remarked.
On the points deduction, Di Maria said: "There are a lot of problems, it's a difficult moment, but I'm happy here, it's important that the club are strong and we continue to work together".
And he finished by talking about his future, which has him linked with Rosario Central once his contract with Juventus is up. "My priority is my family, and here we are all fine, we are happy. I'm at the biggest club in Italy and one of the biggest in Europe.
