Rafael Leao is one of the great stars of this Milan side. The Portuguese, who put in a great performance against Napoli in the Champions League quarter-final second leg, spoke to 'Sky Sport' after the game at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium.
Much is being said in Italy about his renewal by the 'Rossoneri' and the striker spoke about the negotiations he is holding with the Italian club for his continuity beyond 2024.
"I want to stay here at Milan, but there are some things to sort out. The most important thing is that we are in the semi-finals, we are having a great season and I am happy to continue helping my team," said the Portuguese, who showed a smile as he assured that he is very comfortable at the club.
"I feel at home at Milan. I am so happy to be here. I'm still under contract for one more year, we are currently talking," added Rafael Leao.
Finally, the Portuguese was very grateful to Pioli and Maldini for working with him and helping him to become the player he is today. "Pioli is the person who made me the footballer I am today. He was patient, he took my hand like with a son. I have to thank him and also the directors Massara and Maldini who made me the player I am today," he finished.
