"I don't understand why Kane went to Bayern and not Real Madrid"

Harry Kane decided to make a big change in his career in the summer of 2023. Fed up with not winning titles at Tottenham, he chose Bayern Munich to end his curse. However, for the first time in many years, the Bavarian side left empty-handed.
There are those who understand that decision and those who still do not. In the latter group is Paul Gascoigne, who would have been happy if his final destination had been Real Madrid.
"I just don't understand why he chose Bayern Munich instead of Real Madrid. In Madrid you don't just play and train: you have the sun, you have fun and Madrid is a fantastic city," the Englishman was quoted as saying by 'Goal'.
He also spoke about Kane's role at the last European Championship: "His performance was disappointing. But overall, I think he regrets making that decision. Germany probably isn't the best place for him."
"If you look at other England players who went to Real Madrid, like Steve McManaman, Michael Owen and now Bellingham, you wonder why Kane didn't follow in their footsteps."
