Real Madrid striker Endrick admitted that due to the lack of minutes he does not speak much with his coach, Carlo Ancelotti, but he was grateful to the Italian and after scoring a brace against Celta Vigo in the Copa del Rey, he assured that he must ‘keep working’.
"I don't speak much with the coach but the first time I came to Madrid I spoke to him a lot and he told me that the most important thing for me is to work. That's what I do every day, I'm very grateful to him, he's a great person for me and I know that being at Real Madrid is difficult and I have to keep working," he said.
"I did not expect more, I am working and Carletto knows very well what he is doing. It's not the best for Endrick, it's the best for the team. Nothing happens for me, I have to work and I know that if I don't do my job well, I'm out. I'm very grateful to the coach, he knows I'm working hard and I'll always be like that", he added.
Endrick recalled a similar situation in his early days in Brazil and vowed to fight for more playing time at Real Madrid. "Of course it's hard to play few minutes but at Palmeiras I went through the same thing and I always gave everything for the team. The coach looks after the team and I'm happy because I know he trusts me. It's good for me to score goals because I want to help the team," he said.
