"Humility and hard work" - Julian Alvarez's recipe for success

Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez remarked that the 'Colchoneros' have to continue “with humility and hard work to maintain this path” that has led them to win the last seven games in all competitions.
“We are doing very well and with a lot of confidence. Adding up several victories helps the team's confidence a lot. We must continue with humility and work to try to maintain this path because it is the right one,” said the Argentine on Tuesday at a club event with one of its sponsors.
The striker is living his best moment after his arrival this summer at Atlrtico Madrid by scoring six goals in the last seven games after a hesitant start in which he struggled to adapt in the early stages of the season.
Precisely on this aspect, Alvarez expressed: “I have gone from less to more. It is true that at the beginning it was a little bit of adaptation and finding my place. My teammates, the staff and the entire coaching staff have helped me a lot and little by little I am finding what I want to do, which is to help my teammates on the pitch, trying to find my best version”.
Atletico's next match is on Thursday against Cacereno, in the second round of Copa del Rey, which, should it win, would equal the streak of eight straight matches won that it strung together from January 28, 2018 until it was defeated on March 4 of that same year against Barcelona.
