The CAF formalised on Monday evening the draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which will be hosted in Morocco between December 2025 and January 2026. With 24 teams have qualified for the tournament, take a look at what the draw looks like.

The draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations has been formalised, with the tournament set to take place from the 21st of December 2025 until the 18th of January 2026 in Morocco.
Ivory Coast conquered the trophy in 2023 in a thrilling final which saw Sebastian Haller net the winner to seal a 1-2 win over Nigeria. They will now enter the upcoming edition of the competition as defending champions.
The draw was held on Monday evening in the capital of Morocco, Rabat, which is also where the final is set to kick off. With 24 teams qualified for the tournament, the top two teams of each group (A to F) will qualify for the round of 16. Morocco has been automatically put in Group A as the host nation and will be the first game of the tournament.
Group A: Morocco, Mali, Zambia, Comoros.
Group B: Egypt, South Africa, Angola, Zimbabwe.
Group C: Nigeria, Tunisia, Ouganda, Tanzania.
Group D: Senegal, DR Congo, Benin, Botswana.
Group E: Algeria, Burkina Faso, Equatorial Guinea, Sudan.
Group F: Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Gabon, Mozambique.
