Haaland played his seventh game of the 2024/25 season against Arsenal. After failing to find the net against Inter Milan, the Norwegian forward netted again for Manchester City in the head-to-head against Mikel Arteta's side. Within nine minutes he had already found the net.
It was his tenth goal in the seventh match he played at the start of the club season. He deferred scoring in the Community Shield against Manchester United, but then in the Premier League opener against Chelsea.
He was at his best against Ipswich Town with a hat-trick in the 4-1 win at the Etihad and continued the hat-trick streak against West Ham. After the international break, Haaland was on target again with a brace against Brentford at home. 10 in seven games, the striker's second-best start to a campaign as a professional in that number of matches.
