Gennaro Gattuso's arrival at Olympique Lyon is becoming clearer. With just five days to go before the Ligue 1 match against Le Havre (Sunday, 20:45 CET), the 2006 FIFA World Cup winner has reportedly agreed to join OL, reports 'RMC Sport'.
While the 45-year-old's career as a player has been impressive, with almost 500 appearances for Milan, this has not been the case as a coach, with recent mixed experiences at Milan, Napoli and Valencia.
In the event of a last-minute failure or rejection by John Textor, a number of coaches will be approached, including Oliver Glasner and Julen Lopetegui.
Time is running out for a struggling Lyon, who have lost three of their opening four Ligue 1 games.
