Five Clasicos across three finals and four competitions?

If Barcelona knock out Atletico Madrid, four Clasicos this season will be guaranteed. A potential Champions League final would be the ultimate showdown. It wouldn't be the season with the most Clasicos, but it would be the first to feature them in three finals and a decisive league battle.

As of 2 April, this campaign is shaping up to be one of the most intense in Clasico history—not just because we could get five meetings, but because of the stakes: four different competitions and three finals. A dream for the neutral, a nerve-wracker for those in Madrid and Barcelona.
We've already had two: the first league clash and the Spanish Super Cup final. Another is set for May, when Barcelona host Real Madrid in La Liga. But two more could be on the way—a Copa del Rey final, should Barcelona beat Atletico after Madrid secured their place by eliminating Real Sociedad, and the big one: a Champions League final.
If both materialise, we'd be looking at three Clasicos in just 35 days—one every week and a half.
Technically, no. The 2011/12 and 2012/13 seasons saw six Clasicos each, thanks to league encounters plus meetings in the Super Cup and Copa del Rey.
There have been eight previous Champions League Clasicos—three in the semi-finals (1959/60, 2001/02 and 2010/11 - when the Mourinho-Guardiola rivalry hit its peak, and one in the last 16 (1960/61). But never before have they also faced off in multiple other knockout competitions in the same season.
A first-ever Barcelona-Madrid European Cup final would be an all-time moment in football history. So while this wouldn't be the season with the most Clasicos in pure numbers, it would be the first time they meet in four different competitions - and it could have been five if Barcelona had qualified for the Club World Cup.

One is already in Barcelona's hands after their 5-2 Spanish Super Cup final win. A Copa del Rey and Champions League final would take things to another level.
In La Liga, Flick's side have a three-point lead and the cushion of their 4-0 first-leg victory, meaning Ancelotti's men will need something special in the return fixture to avoid losing out on head-to-head advantage.
Even if Barcelona were to win every remaining Clasico, Real Madrid would still lead the all-time head-to-head.
